Cynthia - TbLeague S09

The name of the doll

I do have trouble inventing proper names for characters and dolls ... In the real world, real women already have a name, and all one needs to do is to remember it. But when I got my very first 1/6 doll, it did not come with a name. The package of the body only said "TBLeague S09C". Now this is not a very pretty female name by any standard, but because of my lack of phantasy I decided to stick with it.

However, two weeks later I began thinking that she looked like her name was Cynthia. And that is how I will refer to her.

The head

I did order an unnamed head with long brownish hair, which seemed to go well with the TBLeague S09C body which I also got. Unfortunately this head was not in an original package - so it did not have any type number or similar.

My original plan was that I would get a few heads and interchange them. But after I had mounted that new head onto the TBLeague S09C body, I knew that I would never separate the two: they fit so perfectly well together!

As I found out later, I could have actually purchased a complete set with both the body and this head: It appears that the TBLeague S09 which combines the body and a head in one package, actually does have exactly this head! (see the two official TBLeague pictures below)

Both the head and the body are in the category "suntan", but it is a very light tan. Originally I wanted a body with pale skin, but I am glad that due to some issue I got the suntan versions: they look quite light and realistic.

The bodies

The S09C body comes from TBLeague. I find it has nice proportions and the usual 28 points of articulation. It has a large bust size, but not too overwhelming, and the overall the body can be described as "curvy". The feet are non-detachable, which makes a smooth look for open shoes. The hands are detachable and have those slightly unsightly connections, which would need to be covered by some bracelet or a watch. They also are a bit too large for my taste, and it seems their color is slightly off. Will need to find a replacement sometime.

The private parts of the lady are described as "detailed", but they are not fully realistic in all respects.

The skin color is light suntan. I believe this S09C is the same body as the S07C, which I also like. The difference between the two is that the S07C has a pale skin color, and the S09C appears to be the light-suntan version of the same body.

Very well fits also the TBLeague S02 body.

The parcel

When the parcel arrived, I took my mobile phone and documented with its camera the whole process of unpacking the parts, assembling the doll and dressing her. As a starting set for clothing I had ordered the relatively expensive ACPLAY ATX049 set:

• black pantyhose,

• black high heel shoes,

• black dress,

• light beige coat.

And then I began to run several photoshoot sessions, trying out various poses of this doll. This is just soooo addictive! And I hope you enjoy my pictures of "S09C" as much as I do.
